White Lightning is a solution that has the ability, when mixed with equal parts of white vinegar, to produce chlorine dioxide. Chlorine dioxide is aggressive in neutralizing bacteria, fungus and yeast, and is proven to be highly effective in the treatment of white line disease, thrush, abscesses, seedy toe and hoof rot. Liquid.
Hoof Soak: Mixture consists of 2 oz. White Lightning, 2 oz. white vinegar, and enough water to cover half way up the hoof wall. Pour into a heavy-duty plastic bag or a soaking boot and insert clean hoof, then let soak for 40 to 45 minutes. Repeat two-to-three times per week for the first four-to-six weeks, then one-to-two times per week until the hoof has completely grown out. Treat once a month thereafter to help prevent relapse of white line disease.
